Exclamation Double DIN 7" touchscreen that will support the touchscreen of a PC?! HELP!

Heya guys, brand new to this!

Looking for a double DIN (for the OEM stock look) 7" touch screen that will support the touch screen of say a Mac Mini!

I dont have mega bucks, but was wondering if any of the ones on Ebay will do this?

I have seen some decent ones on there, but i dont know whether they will take the touchscreen from the computer or not?!

I believe it needs a rear USB?

Any help/suggestions on a screen would be awesome!

Thanks guys!!

What do you mean supports the touchscreen of a PC? Just get any touch screen that is supported by a PC using parallel or usb.

Well, except I dont think they even made parallel data screens, they did make db9 serial though, but those are a thing of the past.

And USB is "Universal Serial Bus" so mac/pc it will work. You just need the right drivers. Which are all free for touchkit drivers.

And while looking on ebay, look for vga usb 7" and they will all popup.

I think there were talking about the touch interface not the monitor itself. And those come in many forms.. USB, Serial and Parallel.

Yes the touch interface. And they do not sell parallel touchscreens anymore. For built in systems, like kiosks or anything that are embedded they may be, but not for retail sale.

Serial (9pin) is more common and what was used up until recently.

USB is now the most common and easiest to use. (Also serial).
