Recent Macintosh notebooks have a feature on the touch pad called "2 Finger Scroll". Run 2 fingers down the touch pad will create a "scroll down" effect.
Can this feature be implemented into the Lilliput (or any other brand) touch screens?

I think it's so that you don't have to click on the scroll bar or arrows so you could just slide the track list up or down from anywhere in the box. That would be quite useful while driving.

exactly. scroll bars are sometimes hard to locate with the tiny monitor and my fat fingers....
