Touchscreen Out of range message???/?

I recently connected my car pc to the VGA PC monitor connection on my touchscreen and then booted up the PC. INitially it displayed the picture perfectly and then the screen went black and I got a message appear saying Out of range? i unplugged the cable and message changed to no cable detetced. re plugged it back in and have black screen with out of range message?

Any idea what this could be? HOw I get round it?

When picture is displayed the picture quality was stunning!

Lower your screen resolution and/or frequency.

plug in a normal home monitor, change the resolution to what the "mini LCD' can handle, including the frequency (ussually 60HZ) then plug it into your mini LCD and u should b fine
