Can I fit a 7" lilliput here? Picture included.

I have an 05 toyota corolla and have a few questions:

1. Can I fit a lilliput in the interior head-unit area?
2. Can I fit a lilliput in the exterior bezel (the 4 3/4 measurement)?
3. Where can I get another one of those bezels that surrounds the fan and head-unit?

Thanks a ton

The only 7" Lilliput (with bezel) that will fit the height you show is the EBY-701
http://cgi.ebay.com/Lilliput-7-NEW-T...QQcmdZViewItem

(The Transflective version is 599.99)

It measures 4-1/2" high.
But, you didn't include the width of your opening so that may be an issue.

I didn't include the width because it's like 8 or 9 inches so I figured it wouldn't be a problem.

Do a lot of people take off the bezel or not? That might be necessary to make it fit, so I'm wondering if a lot of builders do that.

Thanks

Hey another question. What is this thing called and where can I get one? I've been calling it a bezel but I don't know if that is the correct term, and I'd like to purchase another one.

Thanks
Erock

It will be much easier to mold in the bezel of the LCD monitor into the dash trim panel. What is it? It is usually called the radio bezel.

Ah okay. Thanks for the advice. If you don't mind me asking, where does one usually buy parts like a "radio bezel?" From a toyota dealer or something?

Thanks

Check ebay for a bezel. If not, try a local junk yard. Only go to the Toyota dealer as a last resort. They will be $$

Thanks. There aren't any internet sites that stock this sort of item?

Not sure if you're still looking, but I bought a new bezel like that off of eBay. The guy was selling it with the stock radio. I got the bezel and factory radio for $60.

This is what I'm aiming for my install, except a transflective screen. You shouldn't need a new bezel, light fabrication at best. The metra kit for Corollas will look just fine too.
