Red face 7" touchscreen... arm?

Im getting around to installing my first carpc pretty soon here. however, i dont plan on keeping the car too too much longer, and dont want to bother with a proper install. I was thinking of just sticking it down where the ash tray goes, but thats a little too low. Now im thinking about mounting it on some sort of arm (lamp arm, maybe) so that i can just put it up by the head unit when im using it (gps mainly for now) and then i'd be able to fold it under the dash a bit when the car is parked in town (dont need someone breaking my window to steal a screen)

im wondering if anyone has anything like that, or any ideas how to do it nicely.

[southern accent] us 'round he'r dont like no shoddy install'... [/southern accent]

but if you must, just use some screws and screw it into your dash...

the standard casing that comes with your screen has one with it...and i know mine even came with some double sided tape on the bottom...

Here is what I used. It works well. Just make sure you mount it where the airbags dont make your screen a missle.

I picked mine up at Circuit City. (I think, It might have been Frys)

Ha, airbags. as if my car has airbags

I'll take a look at that mount from CC (dont think they have it up here, i worked there till recently), and that other mount is pretty slick with the casset tape... but i'd need something a little less likely to fall out
Maybe i can rig up some sort of bracket that clips into something i bolt onto the dash.
