also, the mount brackets you used, what was the brand, can you send me a link to some image online. thanks

This looks like the exact kit that I got. I put it in a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. I believe the brand name is Metra.

This auction comes with a bunch of crap. I bought just the mount kit alone at a local overpriced car audio dealer for 20 bucks. I wish I could tell you the model number but I can't seem to find it. I used the face that looks like it's supposed to fit 2 single din units. I just cut the center strip of plastic out with some scissors and it looks like it was never there.

but how do you mount the unit itself to this bracket and then have it to hold and be stable in the dash?

ixoxoli, here is what you do. Take the 49.99 dash that bought and insert it into your original sanded dash. Line them up and BONDO!

First you screw the side pieces to the side of the unit. They are built specifically to line up with the front hex screws that the stock stereo mounted to.

There are three hex screws on the front(mentioned above) that keep it in there just fine. Two on the left and one on the right. I have never had any problems and I do drive on some pretty harsh dirt roads regularly.

I added some picture attachments, let's see if I did it right eh?

Hey guys...
I have been reading all the threads I can find about this monitor, and I cant find the definitive answer I am looking for...

Does this unit REQUIRE the stylus it comes with, or can you use your finger on the touchscreen?

Thanks!

Fingers work fine.

TBAPb, I've tried using bondo a few times and it never works out good so I decided to leave it as-is until I can get some on-the-job training using it.

Spec's

I have found some spec's on this unit, but what about brightness and contrast ratio??

I am looking for a Double Din, touch screen with VGA input for CARPC.

I really like the technical specs on the newer Xenarc's, but they don't make a double din yet

I've got an '03 Accord and don't want to use my stock HU for sound, since I have aftermarket speakers. I will be getting the Honda Double DIN unit which replaces the cubby under the stock HU & climate controls (on the FEDEX truck right now). I would rather use a Double DIN LCD then a flip-out since that may not work well in that location.

Hi everyone. Can someone include a picture of the mounting bracket included with the DWW-6500? I have a 2001 altima and I don't know how I would mount the DWW-6500 in my car. I have attached a picture below with the dimensions of my 2 DIN slot and you can clearly see the 4 holding screws that are perpendicular to where the unit would be. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
