I bought an 8.4 touch screen setup from Dennis K about 4 months ago, and it's worked fine.

I've finally got around to making a pod to fit it into my car, and it's not working properly.

When switched on, the image is displayed for about half a second, and then it goes, but the back light stays on.

Have I damaged the controller, or am I missing something obvious?

Perhaps you have a break in your cabling? Dunno :-/
