Hi All,

Does anyone know how to hard reset a Lilliput EBY-701? My screen has auto adjusted to a weird size and i cannot seem to get it to display a normal picture again.

Thanks

unplug the power, wait and plug it back in.

That should be all.

how long do you have to wait; the screen retains the settings overnight (not powered)

Well should only be a few seconds. So if it retains it overnight while completely unplugged, then it is stored in memory somewhere.

This weird autoadjustment, did it happen when you were in a frontend such as RoadRunner? If so, then try to autoadjust when the desktop is active.

If that doesnt help, then try it on boot when the XP horizontal slide bar shows up.

When did this happen? (What was the active window)

Press the menu button on the screen and scroll though until you find the reset icon. Select it and then select yes.

If it's the monitor that is your problem, that shoudl fix it.

Hey guys,
I have the EXACT same problem with my moniter, an HP w19. I accidentally hit auto adjust on my moniter when I was messing around with the brightness settings and now the window has been shifted over with a black bar filling up the empty space (if you guys don't understand what I'm talking about I'll send a picture.

I tried everything, I unplugged the monitor, my computer, and the link between the tower and the monitor and waited overnight- nothing. I pressed auto adjust again- nothing. I tried to manually adjust the vertical and horizontal positions- couldn't get it to move far enough, and now my vertical adjuster is screwed up (it says the image is at 255 and will not budge) Then, I tried resetting the image like NiSlo said- still nothing.

I need to hard reset my monitor or get the image back, any idea how?
