Blown monitor
Hi,

Just too apart my ebay vga 8" lcd - put it back together but made a mistake. result: smoke. as far as i can see the only damage is one SMT componant is burnt off, and monitor doesnt work. Anyone got any magic hints/tips?

Slightly cheered someone on ebay sells controller cards so don't have to replace the entire lcd

Oh wow, see thats why i do not take my things apart unless it came apart.... Ive already waved my magic bankcard so many times, when it comes to other components.
