dww 700h problems

I purchased a 700h off of ebay last week. It was brand new in the box, never been installed. When I installed it, I only receive a white screen. The touchscreen does work on it, as I have it hooked up to a laptop, and using the touchscreen on the 700h moves the cursor around on the laptop screen. I have installed approximately 20 head units in vehicles, so I am confidant that I know how to properly wire.
I used a digital multi meter to ensure that the acc wire is hooked into a switched power source, and the 12volt constant wire is hooked to a wire I ran straight from the battery. The ground is also correct. The white screen comes on regardless of whether the car key is in the run, acc or off position. I have rechecked all wires several times. Is the screen bad? or am I not doing something correctly here?

I had this same problem. At first just during cold weather, then all the time. From what I've read it is quite a common problem with these units. I tried to contact Armen at digitalww for a refund/replace/repair, but he never got back to me. Now the warranty is up and its just sitting here. $300 piece of junk.

It's a shame, because while it worked it was actually pretty decent.
