I decided to give gooddeals18 a shot. I got my order fast. Unfortunately I received a broken 12" with a shattered LCD instead of a working 10.4".
I expected a hassle. I called and emailed immediately and got no response. Called the next morning and the person I spoke with said he wouldn't have any more 10.4" until Monday (this was mid week). He sent me a email to print a prepaid return shipping label. That Tuesday I got a shipping notification and got the monitor (in perfect condition) on Friday.
While I would have preferred to have received the right monitor in working order initially, I can't complain about how they handled the return.

I have just started the install in my H3 and it looks like it could possibly be the easiest install of a screen this size that I have seen. Stay tuned for pics.

How big is the screen on the 12" one? I've got a spot of about 14" in the truck and trying to decide whether the 10" screen is just right or to go with the 12" screen.
Anyone have the measurements of each screen?

I take that back. Turns out it is about 1/4" to tall to fit between the AC controls and the AC vents. While this could have been worked around, the angle would not be preferable. It's still going to work well, but will take a little more work.

Hey, did you get any luck with an answer to this?
Apart from my own trials and tribulations on getting a touchscreen from gooddeals18 and their trackrecord of bad communication...
Once I finally received my screen down here in NZ (essentially removing me from any quick returns and replacements) there's a crack in the glass on the corner of the touch screen (running from the top about 1" in to the left about 2" down).. The lcd panel itself seems fine.
So I'm hoping to get a replacement touch screen component but I'm having trouble sourcing one, and one for $15US would be a great option.
Anyone?

If you want the touchscreen to work, you'll need drivers for Mac. Don't know if the Touchkit drivers are available for Mac, but the Linux drivers are catch-as-catch-can. They require a lot of Linux ability to root around as needed to install--the install instructions didn't work at all with Ubuntu 8.1.
But if you just want the display, no problem.

You should be careful with them. I ordered the 12.1" ver. of the same display and received it DOA. The display didnt work at all, and the screen had moved inside its case ( I think it had taken a major hit during shipment or some times before). I contacted them right away (the same day, few hours after I had received it from postal office) and also send images of the display.
They asked me to send it back and said that they would pay me back for the expenses.
Funny thing is that they reply to every mail with no more than four words, ie:
"Send it back.
- Tina"
Well I did send it back, and they received it 6/16/08. Since then they have NOT been able to send me a replcement display alltough they have promised to send it to me several times.
I have to admit that I was stupid enough to take extra insurance to delivery ($3) but I guess that they really dont have any insurance system , they just collect the extra cash and hope everything goes fine with delivery.
I´m really *****ed with them and I cannot recommend ordering from them to anyone. Get your displays from somewhere else, because if you encounter problems or receive the product DOA your in over your head.

Update:
Still no display from gooddeals. After the last post from here I got few replys that the display will be sent in few days, but quite after that they stopped replying to my mails. I´m so glad taht I didnt pay them anything, the only thing I lost was ~30€ for mailing the broken display back to them.
I cannot recommend www.gooddelas18.com to anyone, especially if you are ordering outside US

I have a question regarding this LCD. I received it in good condition but when connecting thru the VGA input the audio will not work. The audio inputs work great when on Audio 1 or Audio 2, but not on VGA. Just wondering if anyone else had the same isuse?
