Dashtop mounted screen?

OK... can anyone recommend one of these screens for dashtop mounting.. I have a Hyundai Veracruz and may be hanging a MacMini off of it. I'm thinking the 10" may be too big. Looking for thoughts, suggestions, etc. Thanx in advance!!!!

Which company can guarantee the Samsung panel?

Gooddeals18 can guarantee you, but you can ask onvon too before buying.

If you compared this Touchscreen to the 7" Sunlight readable one here

You can use non-transflective monitors in car if you have installed dark black sunfilms. You can check the daylight pictures of the OnVon's 10" monitor in my car at:

Looks to be same to me.

Considering that there are no other 8" widescreen panels in the market, I am sure that at least the LCD panel is same.

Some people claim that Lilliput Touchscreen are better than on similar unbranded ones, but I am not too sure about that.

I am also looking at this screen, in fact at Chinavasion, the same (unbranded) is available at much cheaper price (under special offer). I am getting tempted to buy it, but not sure if it will fit in a double din size.

My dash panel has a double din opening and I want at least the visible area of the LCD (only the screen width= 6.875" and Height = 4.125") to be fully visible through it without any cutting or modification. Will it fit?

Should I connect the 2 wires together and be fine or am I just screwed!

I think you're confusing wires... The post you're referring to seem to be this one:

Which is kind of a rehash of this question:

To clarify, the blue and pink wires carry high voltage electrical current to power the backlight behind the LCD display... you really don't want to touch the bare wires when the monitor's plugged in. The speakers can be unplugged with no issues.

VM 70 look-alike?

http://www.onvon.com/tm0702-inch-tou...uter-p-75.html

Is it me or does the TM0702 bears a spitting image to the VM 70 from the short circuit.

Hey Onvon, what is the specs on yours in comparison to theirs. If they are comparable, I'll buy 2 from you.

Anyone have issues wit the touch screen itself? I have mine built into my dash stripped from the housing. Most of the time it seems like the screen is seeing pressure and the icon stays in certain spots on the screen. I touch elsewhere and the courser moves towards that place but never makes it and moves back to where it was once I take my pressure away. Sometimes, it even opens the right click menu too on its own as if I were to do it.
Before it would do this only in the mornings or when it was cold out, now it'll do it whenever. I thought it was because I used alum foil tape to hold the screen to the monitor, which would expand and contrast with temp variations, but it still will do this separated from the monitor.

It works perfectly sometimes, but those times feel lesser and lesser.

Nevermind, I figured out what the differences between the two 10" screens are, the cheap one is not rohs, the more expensive one is rohs. other than that they are identical.

well thats what I heard from a support guy of online chat that the difference was, and then I heard from Yvonne and he said

"The are supplied by different manufacturers. The expensive one has wider viewing angle. The cheaper model is recommended."

So I dont really know now, lol. But neither response mentioned a tv tuner in either of them.
