Lilliput problems

I just bought an 8" lilliput monitor from the store here and im having trouble with it. When i first got it i was using it to install windows but after the first restart it stopped working. Then later on worked until i got to the winxp load screen.

Now however the monitor turns on and all the buttons turn blue but if i plug it into the vga i get no video but i can use the touchscreen and if i have video plugged in and then plug the power in i get a blinking red power light. I have tried hooking it up to my power supply and with the supplied ac-dc power. The Ac powersupply gives 12.47V and the cpu powersupply gives 12.43V and both give the same results.

Thanks for any help

that is strange. Good luck, hopefully someone can chime in who has one. I didn't get mine yet. So are you unable to program any of the codes listed on this forum? (codes that control how it powers on, etc.)

do you have a spare power supply atx that you can test it on inside?

I have tried all the different methods with 588998 and nothing happens. The thing that gets me is the monitor was working and now its not and that if the vga is on i get a red blinking power light.

Mine is doing the same thing, I believe the monitor is dead, I would try reseting the ribbon cables inside, I haven't tried yet because I didn't have a screwdriver.

Yeah, I might wave goodbye with my warranty (if you want to call it a warranty, bought on ebay) and have a go at the insides later tonight. I'll keep you posted on the results, We have the exact same problem.

Also, I've read some strange things happen when you get the Rez and Hz wrong on the monitor, I don't think this is the cause, but worth looking into, resetting the rez to something like 1024x768.

Hopefully it will be that simple!

Let me know what you do with your's.

V.
