Lilliput Controller is dead!

Hey guys, bought an 8" lilliput transreflec., looked all great, used it for a week then decided to mode into the dash, it worked for another week, then today the controller smoked..on me

700$$$ Any ideas, where can I buy another lcd controller, the lcd & TS seem to be fine...does anyone know if the lcd controller for the regular 8" lilliput is the same as the transrecflec? someone mentioned that a xenarc controller also works is that true? help guys...talk about serious problems..was warned bout lilliput quality too

Here is the pic...anyone with an 8" lilliput

come on guyss...need yours help...I wonder the resistor shown is the one that smoked on me...I wonder if someone can read the colours for me..I want to give it one more try n replace that resistor....but I don't know what the value is...anyone with an open...8" lilliput?...before I go spending another 200 for a new controller board?

may I ask how you had the power hooked up? just wondering if there is anything that can prevent that.

I used regulated 12V from my carnetix DC-DC converter, same that I yse for my motherboard (epia-tc w/ integrated PS)

Found out the problem...the power wire to the lcd itself disconnected leaving the controller with too much power I guess....the controller board is toast...can't believe I have to spend an extra $200. &@#%$(%$%*$#
