I was wondering what people's thoughts were about powering the Xenarc 700TSV using the hacked up adapter?
I bought my screen off of eBay and the only cable that came with it was the cigarette adapter that the previous owner had hacked up and made into his power cable. He said it worked fine for him, but using the shielding as the ground makes me a little uneasy (even though I know that's how it works), especially since the shielding looks so flimsy and is exposed. Any thoughts? Comments?
Just a FYI, I am planning on grounding to a screw in the counsol, and hooking up the power to the ACC via my fuse box and a Add-A-Circuit
