by RCA, you mean a composite screen.....
well they both have pros and cons....... a composite screen is typically cheaper than a VGA, but a VGA screen can give a higher resolution. A composite screen max resolution is no-more than the PAL/NTSC standards.....
I have a composite 5.6inch LCD in my system and is great... my custom app uses large fonts and its all easy to read... and i use AVS and DivX too.... all fine....
if you wish to use the windows desktop tho... I would suggest going the VGA screen method... but it comes at an increase is $$$$'s...
