Hi all, I have searched before posting for the answer to my question but with no luck, so here it goes. I was just given a Jensen 1 DIN touch screen multimedia HU, it's a dvd player, tuner, and has some extra inputs. My question is, is there a way to hook up and run my computer through this unit? I have a DWW-700H which I got off of ebay for a good price, but the display is very dark. I have messed with the color settings both on the display and the computer and it still seems too dark to make out in the sunlight. Plus, I have a '99 Silverado with a 1 1/2 DIN opening, so I would have to do some modding to keep my 1 DIN stereo plus adding the DWW-700H into the fold. I know that in addition the the VGA cable for the DWW-700H there is also a USB cable to connect. I also know that the Jensen is only a LCD monitor and not VGA, but I am trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. Anyone know of a way to use this HU as the monitor and touch screen control for the computer? Any help or advice would be apreciated.
