Not bad, and it side by side may be worth it, but it's also an extra $300+ for the TS

You can add touch screen ability to nearly any monitor Not $300 either.
Just shows how much markup there is on 'the others'!
To say you can get a lilli now for little over $200, there's a big $500 difference there!

If you took the price off the accessory area thats an incorrect number the bundled quote will be less.

True, but you'd have to get a good one (optically clear, anti-glare), otherwise, the lcd would be kind of useless. I know with my lilliputs, most of the visibility problems come from the TS.
I'm not saying it is or isn't a good deal, just that on the price point comparison alone, you need to factor that in.

yeah the TS is the main concern. Even mp3car transflective screen is the same. when they send it in to the company to get it done. its is a non TS screen. The company put there own TS on it.

Also, i think i read somewhere that the TS used in transflective enhanced displays is actually bonded to the glass, not just put on there with 2-sided tape.

This screen is of most interest to me:
http://www.aispro.com/products/produ...T200-M1&spec=1
I am looking to buy some sort of double DIN mount that can easily slide in and out, then maybe do a bit of fab work to get the LCD to look flush with the double DIN mount. In regards to that screen above...how hard would it be to incorporate a touchscreen overlay? I notice digitalww sells some 7inch kits. But since this is a 6.5 inch monitor...can you just put the 7inch overlay on it anyways and just calibrate it to work for a 6.5 inch?
