touch screen cal off, any suggestions?

I finally got my TM-868 to cal without locking my PC up but, when I touch the screen it is off by about 1/2" from where I touched it.
I'm using touchkit and have tried 4, 9 and 25 point cals.

Which version of touchkit do you have? Download the latest ones from here:

make sure your windows look right on the screen. meaning everything fit. if its not it will be off. Also make sure if you did fabricated the screen that its not bending it. That will make it go off too

As a matter of fact, I am also having a problem with the window size, there is a "no man's land" at the bottom of the screen that the pointer dissappears into. I feel like it's a driver problem but I'm using the latest one.

I'm already running touchkit 4.3.8.4207

I think the problem may be with the driver for my chipset. I'm running a Via EPIA M10000 micro-ITX

Mine isn't very accurate either.. I calibrated by trying to offset the inaccuracy and using edge compensation. Also.. just in case you aren't, use a stylus.
