Need Replacement 8in LCD Glass, universal?
Hey guys, the touchscreen broke on a 8in SHARK VGA screen that i was installing, I am wondering where i can get a replacement and if the connector from the glass to the circuit board have the same universal connector, meaning that I wouldn't have to buy a shark touchscreen replacement since i can't seem to find it.
Maybe xenarc or lilliput 8'' glass would work?

are you sure it was the "glass" and not the touchscreen?

it was the touchscreen, sorry I refered to it as glass, i am still newbie

check the physical dimensions of it and compare the the 8 inch touchscreens on digitalww.com. If they match you can use that touchscreen IF you buy the controller too

yes I saw the 8 in i need for $100 but it says out of stock, I emailed them, but I do not see a number anywhere

he will get back to you but fwiw the touchscreen is 50 and the controller is 50. Its not 100 for just the touchscreen.

ok, sorry but I was just a little bit confused, the controller would be what?, by the looks of it, the connector on the touchscreen would fit right exsisting port of my 8in screen

it could.. it could not.. really depends on what screen you have. I know nothing about our particular model. If you take a pic of the small rectangle in the back of your touchscreen that as a bolt attached i can tell u if it will work.
