Hi I want to buy this in-dash LCD

I have read all the forum and it seems that this LCD has a problem with touchscreen driver and that it takes time to power up and show vga input. Is it correct? do you suggest me to buy this monitor or a k90 for exemple?
(I own a k301 but it is broken, the panel stays open and doesn't want to move)
