Ok, well I just took apart my Ex-Audio (Lilli Widescreen 7" with side buttons but came out about 6-9months earlier), and I think I got it all in there. I looked in the brochure and it explains the mounting quite well.
Backlight --> Diffuser --> Head-On (apply directly to the forehead... j/k

) BEF Film --> Reflectve BEF (We are using the BEFII stuff) --> DBEF Film --> LCD
Whew!
Also the notches to viewing angle is in the book as well. I figured it shows upper right hand corner for a wider-than-taller screen, so that is what I did. I just did a quick power plug in and I do see the text on the LCD so I didnt polarize it away!
It is 2am though so very little sunlight to test with. I still have to screw everything back together and hot glue my circuit board back down, but done overall.
I have to say... One of the more terrifying experiences in my life! Being in university $200 is a hell of a lot of money to me for a screen. And to fiddle with it to make it better even though it does work messes with my "if it aint broke, dont fix it" motto, so scared x2. Then I had never dissambled a
functional LCD panel that I expected to put back together again, so that was scary. I didnt expect such small screws and everything. A hell of a lot of tape in there too holding clear plastic protective layers down too.
Also I noticed the model I had actually had "Backlight --> Reflective Diffuser --> Diffuser --> LCD" already... and it is a "lilliput". The Reflective Diffuser looked to have the same polarizing properties as the BEFII 90/50, however not nearly as strong. I held it up to a light and I would say the 3M stuff is at least 200% better at reflecting the light infront back and recycling the light behind to a glow. I left it all in there, so I now have 4 sheets in there.
As a good side, I left my windows rolled up today, and I came back to the car to discover my touchscreen area was all bubbled, and it wasnt something I could feel so I figured I baked it. I thought "perfect. Just in time for me to mess with the LCD...

" but once I took it apart tonight, I realized I accidentally left the clear plastic protector on the component side of the touchscreen! So I pulled that off and all was good. (it was a replacement after I cracked my last one).
If anyone is interested in pictures, I have a few. More of dissamebly and almost none of re-assembly. After I got the metal frames off, I wanted to hurry up to avoid the time exposed to a dusty (and cat-hair filled) room.
Also 1 11x11 sheet is good for 2 screens horizontally, and 1 vertically. I had to use 2 pieces of the BEF II because after I removed the protective film, I sneezed. And then got dust and oily fingerprints all over it. I touched it with the back of my finger to try and wipe some dust off, and the polarization layer started to disintegrate and scratch. So dont handle the polarizer much at all! Grab it like you are "supposed" to hold a CD. Edges only, since the severe edges will be covered anyways as non-visible portion of the LCD.
That was a long post!
