HELP - Don't able to set 800x480 :(

Hi guys !

Now at long last I have my Lilliput EBY701. But I'm not able to set in WinXP the 800x480 resolution. I checked all the settings, there is 800x600, 848x480, 960x600 but not the lilliput's native resolution.
I tried Powerstrip, but nothing happened.

WHAT CAN I DO ?

In the other resolutions the output is very bad.

Please help me

THANKS,
bye

Well, firstly I tried my GeForce 6800 on my desktop pc. It doesn't have 800x480.

But now I tried also the carpc's video card: an integrated Intel 82815, with 32Mb. And also there, there is not lilliput native resolution.

Please help me, otherwise I spent a lot of money for nothing

I also have the 701 and it displays 800x600 perfectly fine. using i845g embedded graphics. can't set 800x600. I haven't tried Powerstrip, but I think you can run custom resolutions with it.

I don't understand you at all. Now you use 800x600 or 800x480 ? If you also tried 800x480, can you conferm me that 800x600 is not, compared to 800x480, too bad ?

Powerstrip allow you to select the same resolutions windows allow to choose. Nothing more than them.

I use 800x600. It looks good.

Within powerstrip, you should be able to create a custom monitor driver, and specify resolutions within that driver. You should also be able to create a custom resolution and have Powerstrip switch to it on bootup. This was/is used quite a bit with HTPC setups which have video cards which don't display the desired resolution, or there is unwanted clipping in the standard TV resolutions.

Thanks a lot guy ! I resolved the problem using powerstrip just two days ago

Unfortunately powerstrip can't force a specific resolution in every video driver, so I've installed an external video card, increasing the requred spice
