Fitting a new Screen into a G35 Mount

Since after much begging and pleading, the MP3 store still does not carry a Xenarc 700TSV transflective screen, I am thinking about getting my own Xenarc 700TSV transflective screen (from MotorCity Tech) and fitting it into the standard G35 mount from the MP3 store. Given that the G35 mount uses a Xenarc 700TSV, anyone have any idea how difficult this would be?

Dave

Dave

mgithens just bought one, you should let them know if you are going to be buying one so they can begin production on it. Unless he has one ready (which he did when mgithens bought one), it can take up to a couple weeks for the upgrade.

Also, you are better off posting in the "Fabrication" forum, there are a lot of epoxy putty threads, and a couple of them are so detailed and simplistic, that I was very tempted to try it. You can see updates to the thread where others followed the guide and did their own easily as well.

Edit:

Here is the link to the exact one I was talking about - Link

Thanks for the link, but it is not a matter of fabricating. the G35 mount from MP3car is made for the 700TSV. It's a matter of dismantling the 700TSV, removing the controller card, and putting it all inside the G35 mount. I'm trying to determine if anyone has ever done it, and if so, what the difficulty level is, and if they have any pointers or tips.

Thanks
Dave
