Xenarc 700tsv won't turn on

I tried to turn my screen on after I put it in a case I made and it turned on but then white would creep up the screen. I looked at the ribbon cable and it must have got damaged. I bought a new one but when I plug it in, the screen doesn't even turn on anymore. The green light on the front doesn't even turn off after a while. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help?

Hmmm, check the voltage going into the monitor, make sure you have 12V.
I took mine apart, beat it up pretty good...and it still works.
The green light does not turn OFF? must be gettin voltage then.
Sounds like you might have messed up a board...double check that ribbon cable.

Wish I had a better answer...sorry.

Ok tried to find to test the voltage to the monitor but I'm not getting anything. What wires should I test. The board is getting power for sure and I think the monitor is too. I cant be sure the monitor is getting 12 volts. Another thing I've found is one of the resisters is getting really hot. It might actually be burning something too. I cant be sure though. Also I have noticed the the green light might be dimming over a period of time. Does this bring up anymore ideas?

I have the same problems with my Xenarc and have come up with nothing. My ribbon cable is also damaged and I was thinking that was the problem. I took a multimeter to the board and it is getting 12V. If it makes a difference I never had this problem until I pressed a little too hard on the corner of the enclosure and shattered the touchscreen. I replaced the touchscreen and I get ALL the same problems as CloakingHalk. Any advice is much appreciated.
