righto, its just that i might be buying a lcd that got fried (no fuse and something went up in a puff of smoke, is the description ive got) haha i havent seen it :P its 7"
so yeah i was thinking of taking the overlay (and controller) and putting it on top of my 6" screen and hiding the excess... so can i calibrate it down to a 6" screen...???
I dont know about other screens, but for my k301, it seems that the touch controller is embedded in the circuit board which also handles the lcd functions. So keep in mind that the controller for the usb might not necessarily be a separate entity that you can just pull apart and use.
righto...i know its a bit ambiguous, let say this screen has had too much power fed into it and blown.... what would go....some sort of power supply...? is the power easy to fix... understand if its too left field without any info :P
