7" touch screen detachable display? any ideas?

as title, i cant seem to find anything of that exact spec, it needs to be detachable due to it going into a 70's car, having a fine mix of no security and an oldskool look will attract thieves pretty quickly.

oh, hi by the way, i plan to install a car PC running the usual nonsense, exept in a 1979 ford escort, not the way daganham intended....will post pics of my install very soon!

I mounted mine like this amost two years ago. Still using like this but I shortened the stalk to lower the screen by about 2"

nah i want it mounted in dash still.

but needs to be touchscreen........

actually now i think about it, maybe a trackball mouse *could* be used instead......mounted in the centre console, kind of like the idrive controler thingy.......

anyone done this before?

does this one 'detach' i can see the mount although is this just to be installed into a headrest?
