Xenarc Repair RMA.
A few post below is my description of my disaster when i burnt my xenarc.
Well I need you guy's opinion on what to do next. The current situation is that my LCD turns on ok, I can see the PC/AV2...menu etc... But no signal from the video input. On the board i have a fried chip for sure, and who knows however many more.
Here are my options:
1) get a donor LCD and start switching stuff (highly doubt i can find a donor)
2) Get a replacement from xenarc, 115 + shipping.
3) send in the xenarc for repair by xenarc (cost unknown)
What are you guy's opinion and experiences with xenarc repair services?
And what would you recommend i would do? There might be a chance that even with a new board that it still wont work. Also they required that i send them the old board before they sent me a replacement. Also, do you think the inverter is broken?
