Monitor Install in Process - Brightness from menu (eby-701)

My installer called me and is wanting to remove LCD case of Lilliput 701.

However he was wondering if I will lose any functionality from the missing buttons.

I am needing to know, if you can adjust the brightness setting from the remote (menu?).

If so, then all he needs to do is mount the IR and I should be good. Otherwise, I'm going to ask him to adjust the dash more (more work...).

Any help is appreciated!

You mean the remote?

Can anyone 100% confirm?

Need to know before I tell him to go ahead, and it's too late

Yes, you can control most/all function by the remote. Just remember that the button board MUST be connect to the main board for the Lilliput to work. BTW, this is NOT the 701, but 619 instead.
