Lightbulb Can I use an 8" touch panel with a 6" lcd?

Does anyone know if this will work or not? can it be calibrated to use a smaller area of the touch panel? thanks

there might be calibration software out there but i doubt it. Why do you want to use that big of an overlay with that small of a csreen anyway?

Because I have an 8.4" touch panel lying around and am using a 6.4" lcd for my carputer. guess the only way to do this would be to buy a 6.4" touch panel (~$100) and I am trying not to spend any more $$ on this project.
