Trouble finding 7" Xenarc I was looking at

About a month ago, I was looking at a 7" Xenarc touchscreen monitor (in-dash) that had a VGA input and was somewhere around $250. Is there a list of all Xenarc monitors since I can't seem to locate it?

I guess, more importantly, I am looking for a monitor that will fit into a double-din sized slot. The adapter I am getting from Scosche has the double-din opening, and I would much rather have a monitor that sits in flush, rather than overlapping the front face. Do they have such a monitor, or am I stuck with in-dash DVD receivers at this point?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but most 7" monitors fit in a double din slot. People who do this usually remove the lcd from its housing and mold it in somehow. I suppose one could stick a monitor w/ housing into a double din slot and be alright with it. Just depends on what look you want. I dont know of many who do this. I guess your best bet would be to measure it.

Just went to scosche website and see what you mean. The problem with 7" touchscreen monitors is that they are not mainstream yet so are only produced by a few companies. Hence, you options are limited. There are many tempting chinese made monitors on Ebay from Hong Kong stores, but my advise would be to stay clear as I have been burned by them. The product may be great at first but when problems arise, you have to pay shipping to HK, and even after all that my unit came back not working!
