Securing boards behind screen

Hey guys. I know this has been covered here and there, but im looking for more. With all the pitfalls i have encountered on this project, i cant afford to have this screen fail due to my error. Its a lilli EBY701. I would probably just hang the project up. Im wanting to know the best way to secure the board behind the touch screen once its in the dash. Also, if anyone has words of wisdom for what DOESNT work, that would be great too. Thanks in advance for the help.

Keep it in the casing... Easiest way.

Because the boards screw into the back, just leave the back intact, and then mount that casing to whatever. I used high temp hot glue because I always go back in there and hot glue isnt too bad to remove if you need to.

I've tried everything......double sided tape, sticky velcro......well I guess I tried 2 things. But what worked best was to take the wires out of the twist ties for bread and tie them together. There are a few holes on the circuit board meant for screws so I loop the wire through there, and then loop it around something on the back of the screen. Do that in 2 places and it's fine.

What about any kind of plastic or insulation material between the board and back of the screen? Is there any possibility of shorting?

I don't think so, they're packaged together inside the casing without anything between them. I don't even think there's anything metal on the back of the screen.

I was looking to see if any meets were happening but I didn't see any threads about any taking place. But I just moved to New York last week so I'm not in Atlanta anymore, I should change my information. Thanks.
