weird display issues with 700tsx...anybody else?
so i'm wondering if anybody else has experienced, this...and if anybody would have a recommended fix:
first, some background: my mobo is the epia sp13000
what happens is under an 800x600 res, my viewable screen (desktop) shifts over about 1/3 the length of my monitor...so in essence, the last 1/3 of the desktop is cut off.
i've tried different refresh rates, and it wouldn't work. i can't try setting my res. to 640x480 since i dont have that option in my disp. properties. the only res that it seems to work in is 1024x768. now, under this display, i can make do except my winamp buttons are too small, and i couldnt find a larger skin i liked.
i tried setting RRconfig's to my res, but RR takes up about 3/4 of the screen, maybe less.
anyhow, where i need help is either resolving the issue where the screen bumps over at 800x600...or getting RR to work at 1024x768.
i've already troubleshot drivers, settings, etc. Xenarc didn't have any helpful suggestions aside from messing with the refresh rates or possibly sending the monitor in for testing.
