Over $500?! Wow...
It may be small, but it is still a flipout. Definately a step in the right direction to add something new to the scene though.

You know why this came out today? Because I finaly decided to go ahead and order a 700 IDT today
LOL, now that I own one, I'm sure a flock of perfect solar powered holographic displays with atom level resolution and transparent aluminum chassis will be unveiled by several world class manufacturers. And if experience is any teacher, I'm sure they will be introduced at about half the price I paid for my most recent hardware.

I have a russian friend of mine that read the whole page to me to confirm all the google translation details. He is currently having some of his friends back home see if they can find it locally or at a better price then 500 USD... that is retail after all. Anyone interested if I can find them for less if we purchase quantity?

Well, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" or thats what they say (well, most people actualy say "the proof is in the pudding" but thats not the original saying....but....we're talking about monitors here, so Ill stop wasting time.)
If it was a 1/2 din vga fold out that uses 12 watts and has a very good screen (clear, no less readable in sunlight than any other good display) with a touchscreen an IR remote and an AV input; I would think it worth it.
I'm personaly leaving my OEM HU in the car and adding the PC, so I was looking for a nice fold out display without AM/FM or CD. Closest I could find (with a good display) was the Xenarc 700 IDT.
If we had some reviews of this Russian unit, and it was good, I would have looked into that. For me, it would have been worth it.

Sure it has a usb touch screen. Go to the english link above, then navigate to:
Start Page / Catalog / Car Audio and Multimedia / TV/PC Monitors / Car TV/PC Touch Screen Monitirs with VGA Inputs / PROLOGY PCM-750T
It clearly states that it has a touch screen. In the translated version it says it has a usb input. More than likely that is what we are looking for eh? Yeah it only has about 80% as many pixels, but that is still way more than a high end pioneer or stock nav unit.

May be it would be interesting for you, guys
"Prology" is not really the Russian manufacturer, it’s only the name of a trading company here. The monitors are made by company “SATURN HIGH-TECH GROUP, Ltd” from China. So you may do some web research and find them locally.
