Lilliput not working - What is this component?

Ever since I broke this thing my Lilliput has been acting up. I thought I had it soldered back in and it worked for a while too. But not anymore.

Can anyone tell me what this is and where I can get one?

Never mind. I saw in another thread a picture that looked like this. It was suggested that it was a transformer of some sort. Fished out the broken wire and soldered it, then topped it off with hot glue, and now it works....
