Powerstrip question.

So after a while, i finally got powerstrip working at 800x480 (still at 60hz though, can't get 70hz looking right). Anyway, the question, when i turn on the computer the screen is at 640x480 resolution 'til power strip turns it to 800x480 at startup or after resume. Which is kinda annoying because the screen flips back and forth a couple of times. So does anyone know how to make it permantly stay at 800x480 resolution?
Thanks
Punky.
