Need Help with cheesebox

I just purchased a cheesebox video converter from ebay and I am not sure if this is what I need. I want to hook up a backup camera and have it automatically switch the display to the camera when in reverse. I thought the cheesebox had a VGA input and switched to the composite input when it is turned on, however I dont see a VGA input on the unit. It has a VGA output, a power jack, a composite input, an s-video input, and a 9 pin D-sub connector. Is the 9 pin connector a VGA input to be used with an adapter cable and if so, can someone give me a pinout? If this doesn't have a VGA input, can someone recommend another unit that does? Thanks in advance!

Googling cheese box video converter reveals at least two different devices (one of which definately had a vga port). Perhaps a link to the product you bought might help us understand what it is that you are talking about.

Here is the link to the auction that I won. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=290205746376

I am pretty sure this is the same unit that amazon shows in this picture http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ima...&s=electronics

On the left side of the picture it shows that it can connect to a vga video card but it has a 9 pin connector (like a serial port) instead of a 15 pin vga connector. I would *assume* that I need to find or make an adaptor cable but I don't know which pins on the cheesebox go to which pins on the video card.
