PanaVise Mount for LCD Touchscreen
Has anyone used one of the Panavise mounts for mounting a touchscreen like a Lilliput?

I originally mounted like that.

I used it like that for two years, recently I started work on putting it in the dash.

I made my mount using Panavise mounts. Don't know how well the pre-made mounts work, but I used two of their .815" ball and socket joints. My screen and aluminum enclosure weighs almost 5 lbs. and it does not move unless I move it.
I used this site for product. They were great to work with and sent out a few extra pieces at no charge when I had a problem.

Thanks alot,
I'll have to look at the dash again. I like the Jlemieux method, but I really like what JimmyFitz said about using it on the mount for 2 years and then working on putting it in the dash.
The post method looks like it worked well for you.
I'm just starting, so I can work on getting everything else running and once I see how the location works, I can work on a better monitor install later.

The single post was good enough. It allowed it to swivel for the passenger to see it sometimes. I did remove one of the post segments to make it shorter, lower to the console.

Ah, having good access for the passenger is a good idea.
Also, being able to move the monitor around a bit for glare, etc.
Thanks again,
