Tview T800TS Touch part acting goofy.

I got a used Tview T800TS and I am using the latest drivers from egalax.com.

I'm having problems getting the touch panel to work properly. It recognizes my tapping but it doesn't recognize where I tap. Sometimes it gets stuck in the lower left corner over the start menu (probably coordinate 0,0 or something). Other times it stays on a certain horizontal or vertical line and just jumps back and forth really fast making it inoperable.

I read on these forums that maybe the plastic or something was pushing on the screen so I opened it up so the screen would be free and it still did the same thing.

Anyone see this before or give me any ideas?

Well I did some more playing around and got the touch panel to work only when the outer plastic cover is off. It will still work if the front cover is on partially, but soon as put it completely back together with the screen all the way touching, it messes up. Almost like the screen needs to be spaced off. I tried foam to space it a little bit but no luck. I tried sanding the edge a little bit so there would be more room, but no luck.

Anyone have these symptoms?
