Odd lilliput problem - help

I'm having an odd problem with my lilliput 619GL-70NP that i havent been able to find any help on (yes i searched)

If i touch the left side of my screen its perfectly accurate, but as i touch farther to the right of the screen, and eventually the far right edge, the screen reacts farther and farther off on the x axis. so once i get to the right side, its off by a good 2 inches. but in the middle its off by say 0.5 inch. the y axis is fine.

what makes it worse is that it seems to go in and out of this problem. if i calibrate it while its operating 'correctly', the next time i turn on my car it will be off. or maybe just later in the same trip (10 minutes, 60 minutes etc). so i calibrate when its 'off' and it goes back again at some later time.

its not drivers because i just did a full rework of my carpc with different mobo and everything and it has the exact same problem.

my bezel seems to be fine. i havent touched it since i first installed it a few months ago and it worked fine for the longest time.

could my touchscreen be on its way out the door? anyone else had this specific problem?

what, did you just search liilput problems and post the oldest link you could find?

first of all the thread is 4 years old

second my screen does not get hot, i tested that.

and finally, they dont list the problems they are having. how do i know they are experiencing the same problem? my screen isn't failing, its malfunctioning in a specific, consistent way.
