What Kind of Connector is This!?

What kind of connector is this?

I have spent countless days reading and searching and I cant seem to figure out what kind of connector this screen has. So i'm turning to the community which has far more knowledge then me.

Also is there any way to get this screen to work with this motherboard

Looks like a regular header connector that is used in countless pieces of electronics. Unfortunately there is no standard to how the connector is wired, it's just a collection of connector pins that the manufacturer can use to transport any signal he wants.

if that's a smaller screen with that many wires then I would guess it to be a ttl interface... if you can get #'s off the lcd then google maybe to find a data sheet for the lcd itself...

the motherboard isn't gonna show anything helpful with just a picture of it, but if you know what kind of motherboard it is you should be able to look up specs.. either way I think best you could expect would be maybe an lvds interface off the motherboard.

best idea will probably be to identify the lcd, then source a vga controller for it & run it off the vga output from the motherboard...

It looks like there could be 2 LVDS connectors on that mb (the 2 white ones on the bottom)and youve got a PC104+ interface (the grey socket headers) so you should be able to find a PC104 module for LVDS or TTL, whatever your display is...

Like turbocad said you should try searching for a datasheet for the display then you can be sure what to look for as far as display control board. It would be a good idea to find one for the mb as well.

The connector on the mb looks like a 30 pin 90deg header (fairly common) and the one on the back of the display looks like a Hirose DF14 style connector (google it).

Thanks for the quick reply's!

The screen is from a 19inch lcd monitor that I bought at Staples and have been attempting to get it to work with the SBC.

The motherboard is a PCM-9576.

-There is a card that converts VGA to whatever kind of connector that is; But I would really like to go straight from the motherboard to the screen.

give it up, if you knew what you were doing there'd still be little point to it & with where your at with this, theres no reason to even think about this... is this for a vehicle? run it with the vga converter no problem
