Hey does anybody know if this will work? i have a VGA to RCA converter that i want to use to hook my laptop to me Pioneer 4900 reciever. do you think it will work as for as the touchscreen capability paer of it? the video i think should work but i am doubtful about the touchscreen part of it. i haven't tried it yet, i'm still waiting got the converter to come in the mail.

I am 99.9% sure that you are outta luck on the touchscreen thing, and 85% sure you are outta luck with the converter cable unless it was a box of tricks known as a scan converter.

No, your touchscreen won't work.
That Pioneer unit's touchscreen is hardwired to the unit and meant to control the headunit itslef and nothing else.

As far as the cable, we can't say because we have no clue what cable you're talking about. Post a link or a pic or something and we might be able to answer your question.
