Ok gentlemen, here is my situation. I have a console which I do not wish to tear apart, pictured here :
Keep in mind, that isn't my vehicle, but it looks identical to it. I can easily take the cupholders and the dimensions are then
7" or 177.8mm Width on top
5" or 127mm Width on bottom
5" Height on left
4 3/4" or 120.6mm on right.
The width slopes up to the 7" 2" from the bottom, then it is essentially a paralell box.
I'm looking at this lcd
here mainly because it has the headrest mount and its dimensions are close but are measured with the mount on I believe. Has anyone tried this LCD and what are your opinions of it. Also, do you know what the dimensions are of the unit outside of the headrest mount? If you don't think this is a good route, what do you suggest? I am looking to keep costs down and plan to eventually use a touchscreen overlay, but that is a different point altogether. Thank you very much in advance!
