cheap monitor!!

okay i need a CHEAP single din monitor. does not have to be motorized, and touchscreen is preferred but not required. i hear about people getting cheap monitors all the time on this site. anyone know of one? and i mean CHEAP. haha

well i have one of these in my car $233US

they work fine for the $$
touchscreen is quite usable.

not trans reflective, so pretty average in bright light like most screens.

can swivel left and right and up and down too

overall im pretty happy with mine

well that's pretty sick. thanks for the help, but i was hoping for something even cheaper haha. i really just don't have the money.

Then you are in the wrong hobby.

You can't find one new any cheaper than that. If you can settle for a used/semi-defective unit, there is always eBay.

I'm sure 2k1Toaster didn't mean to be mean or anything. This is just another one of those hobbies that costs a LOT to work on, like paintball or model R/C.... Equipment for carputers just can't be had for "cheap"

thats the cheapest one i found, that does vga, you can got ones that are about $100, but unless you are watching only movies it would suck big time for text and car pc stuff.

they have resolutions of 960(H) x 234(V) and weird stuff like that, and only composite video in

That's about inexpensive as you're gonna get and still have something useable.

UNless you're going to start going wth used parts.
