Again, not intended to hijack, I apologize. My understanding was that he was offering just the touch interface, and not the whole integrated product.
This was MY BAD, and I can only apologize so much.
To help out... Armen, the reason they haven't shipped yet was because of CES. You can expect all your backorders to be shipped either today or monday.
I wish you the best.

I think it's all cool, every board has a different set of rules, and people.
I can't remember what my first post on this board was about but I do remember the first reply was C4M *****ing me out
Anyways... back to you Armen.

Hey Armen,
I was wondering if you had ever tried to fit one of your 7" touchscreen overlays in this type screen?
Also, If I buy your overlay, will I need to purchase an additional controler for it?

I think the control and the touchscreen comes as a kit.
The Starvision TM-7001s is the exact on Armen is selling at digitalww.com Everything looks the same, just the case is different color...and Armen is cheaper. http://www.digitalww.com/LCD_TM_7002S.htm

2 Video Cards, 2 LCD, 2 Touch Screen Work?
I was using my friends labtop and realized that Windows XP lets you span the desktop over 2 monitors if you have 2 vidocard or a ATI card that has 2 outputs. Then i wondered if you can have a 2 touch screen set up for this situation?
Hey Armen,
Do the drivers for the touch screen support 2 monitors. I know that the 3M Dynapro and MicroTouch driver support 3 touch screen monitors.

Yes, as AcuraTLFan said it is the same monitor as TM-7002S and the kit will fit perfectly. And the touch kit is complete so nothing else to buy.

Good question, I looked at the manual and didn't find any info on this. I will email the manufacturer and see what they say.

The NEW AND IMPROVED "XENARC"
I finally got the samples that I was waiting for and these new monitors are Monsters. Everything was improved! The brightness on these is going to be 300nits now. Resolution was improved also, check out these pics:
640x480
800x600
1024x768
1152x864
1280x1024
There is also a 1600x1200 but everything get to small at that point
There is a variety of different models
GA700Y - VGA only
GA700YY - VGA + Touch Screen
GA700YYV - VGA + Touch + 2 Video inputs + 1 Audio input
Auto power ON and OFF with signal, it automatically adjusts resolution and automatically adjusts the image. Also there was an issue with the monitor loosing all the setting when power turned off, this has also been resolved.
I have 3 GA700YY monitors and 2 GA700Y monitors. I believe that all of the GA700YY are sold but I still have both of the GA700Y monitors up for grabs. If anybody is interested click here

This looks pretty sweet, however, does it still support a 16:9 ratio resolution? Such as 800x480? or only 4:3 ratio's?

It stretches and centers the image to 16x9 automatically. No more Powerstrip.

excellent.. and auto power on... mmm... good stuff...
So, how does this new xenarcs screen quality look in the dark with this brighter backlight? Is the contrast ratio decent in your opinion? Again, the original Xenarc at 180 nits - the blacks were bright greys. Nasty...
I looked at the pictures, and it's lookin' good.. Though you never can be too sure with the wacky exposures on most digital cameras.

Armen, fantastic...! Thank you for all your endeavours.
One of the GA700YY is for me and I've sent you an email (to webmaster@digitalww.com ) to arrange payment details. Please post here if you don't receive.
The Xenarc is destined to be integrated into a very small perspex case with the new EpiaM mobo. Will let everyone know how I get on.
Many thanks again!

OK, so it doesnt do wide screen resolutions any more then?
eg. widescreen res of 800x480 on this new one would look like that but actually be 800x600 (that make sense?)
I dont think I like the idea of having the monitor streching an image out to fill up the screen, making everything shorter and fatter. Also, does it have refresh rates otehr than 60Hz?
