Component to VGA? & Composite to VGA?

I need a component to vga adapter. Anyone know if i could build one or get an inexensive one. An also need a composite to vga maybe an adapter that has both.

I think the cheapest solution you're going to find is from Viewsonic. They have an adapter that takes regular video sources in and upconverts them for viewing on PC monitors. I don't think it takes component video though. And what are you using with component ouputs that you want to see on a VGA display? What type of display is it? If it is a multiscan display, it may be compatible with a simple component to RGB adapter (although most of the ones that I know of are expensive professional units).

No, RGB is different, but easily derived with a matrix circuit. The problem is the matrix circuits are usually built into the displays, and are rare to come by externally. Extron (www.extron.com) makes one, but it retails for about $900.

there are some products by audio authority, its called a component transcoder which converts the component signal to RGB-H-V. those run around 150 or so.

well RGB-H-V is the signaling on VGA, its just split up onto 5 BNC (some models might be db-15 out) connectors instead of a db15 connector.
