Lilli 619 repairs... different descriptions
Hi, I bought a Lilliput 619 monitor from a guy who thought that the seal had never been broken and was in working condition when he sold it to me. I plug it all in and it doesn't respond to my touch. I wanted to repair it rather than buying a new one, but I get different people telling me that I need different parts. I pulled out the touch screen glass and tested the resistance b/n pins 1 and 3 and 2 and 4. I got resistance values when i wasn't touching it and no change when i did touch it, so i suspected the touch overlay. Well, I decided to go ahead and get the whole shebang and replace the main circuit-board in the case too. Well, looking at all, I only have one board. I was talking to a guy who want's to sell his parts, and I told him that I wanted the touch overlay and the circuit-board, and he tells me that he will take the touch controller off for me and sell me just the board. This confused me as I had noticed that the touch controller was integrated, and that it only had one circuit-board. I know what the touch controller looks like, and it's integrated into my board. How will I fix this issue?? I have a pic of the board, but it seems I'm having trouble uploading the pic... Any thoughts?
