Lilli EBY701 flickering/lines problem

Hi. I have some problems with this 701EBY screen... I get intermittend horizontal lines on parts of the screen from time to time. I cannot recreate it, but it seems to be more constant when I use the mouse/touchscreen.
This is all powered AC, since I am just bench testing it right now.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Thank you.

and if it's really tight, try loosening it just a tad. I've had the same issue when that round plug is both too loose and too tight. the connection just plain sucks, they need to come up with something better.

I have a similar problems where I think mine is similar to white noise or electromagnetic radiation / interference?

The HDD is very close to the screen and so is the ATX PSU cable, would these affect the LCD screen and how would I go about sheilding it?

don;t mean to hijack your thread mate!

Below is a snap shot of how it's housed

Oh man, I'm gonna need to look into doing the same as you Kosti in my Impreza. At the moment the computer is in the boot as I couldn't fit everything in the standard Mechatroniks chassis, but that looks sweet! Heaps of room for air to move around too.

B.O.T. - I had wavey lines all over my screen when I was putting it together and thought it was the long (5M) VGA cable I was using. After exchanging the VGA cable with no difference, I ended up changing the video settings in the BIOS to a lower resolution and the lines dissapeared!
