armen only charges $400 for the 700Y I believe, and 470 for the 700Y-Y (VGA + 3 composite inputs).

if you have VGA input, then what would you use the 3 RCA inputs for?

Only thing I can think of is a video gaming system or external dvd player.

Anything I'm missing?

Trying to justify the extra $70 bucks for 3 RCA's.

i see....hmmm.
If i have a car pc, i know i'll be getting a DVR card also.
That way, i can use 4 cameras on one card and record live time
and i STILL won't need RCA inputs since all 4 cameras plug into the back of the PCI card.
Gotta be able to record If I'm going to have a camera or more.
Be useful also for insurance claims and or theft.
Plus I want to record the cops in return when they pull me over and beat my a$$.
In the future someday, I don't want to regret no getting the RCA inputs, but what in the heck would I need them for ??

someone must have

700Y is just a VGA Screen, for $70 you're also getting the touch screen kit in addition to 3 Video inputs. Also I talked to the manufacturer and they said the 700YY will now have an Audio input and for an extra $30 I can order them with a brightness of 300nits (200nits standard).

Talking

ahhhh....so it comes with touch-screen, that definitely helps make my decision which model to get. I thought they were both touch-screen and I was paying extra ONLY for RCA's.

Now, even though it comes with audio in, what would I use that for? unless there's an audio out also and volume controls on the screen for audio.

300 nits would definitely be a must in daylight.

Thanks for the answers armen. Definitely cleared decision making questions up. I'm wondering If it'd be possible NOT to get RCA's and save some $.

PMSing tonight....sorry if I sound a little obnoxious

Does that brightness mod include any change to the contrast ratio the Xenarc has? Right now at 180nits (TS model), its contrast ratio is quite poor and blacks come out bright greys at night - looks really tacky.
