So the project took a blow yesterday.
Short story: Cracked screen when removing dash to do test fits b/c the dash was pushing on the screen at the bottom right corner.
I have the Lilliput 629GL-70NP/C/T LED 2008 model.
I take it this is the right replacement glass http://store.mp3car.com/SearchResult...x=8&Search.y=8.
Looking at "numbers" write up on how he fixed the touch screen issues. replacing the touch glass shouldn't be an issue (money and project wise).
The LCD portion didn't suffer any damange. I Just need some feed back if this is the correct unit. Mp3Car store displays measurement but the 4 1/4 doesn't match up to my screen. Even though it says "Later" than April 08'.
Emailed my question to them and still waitin' for a responce.
Just need some help thats all.

open up your monitor case and remove the touch panel to verify which replacement panel you need. you can get both the old and new touchpanels in the MP3car store.

the old touchpanel uses a flat ribbon cable with a plastic connector on the end:


the new touchpanel uses a flat ribbon cable with no connector on the end:

The measurements still don't add up on the height?
